Crowns & Bridges

Flash Smiles without Spaces with Crowns & Bridges

Crowns and bridges (combined with an implant treatment) are teeth replacements that replace the form and function of missing natural teeth. We offer these treatments at Wanstead Dental to help complete your smile, without unsightly gaps and spaces caused by tooth loss.

A dental crown is a cap that is used to cover a decayed or damaged tooth; this dental restoration is also used in combination with a dental implant to provide missing teeth solutions. A dental bridge is ideal for replacing several missing teeth, and is attached to implants that are securely embedded into the jawbone.

When Would I Need Crowns & Bridges?

Crowns and bridges with dental implants can end your problems with missing teeth. If you have one single tooth missing, you can replace the form and function of that tooth with a dental implant and a dental crown. A few missing teeth can be solved with a dental bridge attached to dental implants, so problems associated with missing teeth can be eliminated.

Getting dental implants with a dental crown or a dental bridge soon after losing your natural teeth is recommended so that you can avoid deterioration in your jawbone. Getting crowns and bridges immediately after tooth loss will also spare you from the embarrassing and painful episodes that can result from being toothless.

What’s Involved in Crowns & Bridges?

Our Master Technicians in Berlin design and create top-quality, natural-looking dental crowns to complete your brand-new smile at Wanstead Dental.

  • Impressions of your prepared tooth and opposite jaw will be taken to help create the dental crown. At Wanstead Dental the impression will be sent to our Master Technicians in Berlin, who will create high-quality dental crowns that will last for a very long time.
  • An implant is attached to the jawbone to jumpstart the dental crown treatment. After a healing period has passed, the crown can then be attached to the implant, bridging the gap that a missing tooth has caused. The crown is created to match the appearance of the surrounding teeth, making your smile look very natural even with the dental restoration in place.
  • A dental bridge, attached to dental implants, replace the form and function of missing teeth. Once the dental implants are attached to the jawbone, the dental bridge can be attached to the titanium screws to complete your smile once more. A dental bridge can also be attached to neighbouring teeth even without the attachment to implants.

Dental Bridges

Am I Suitable for Crowns & Bridges?

You are suitable for crowns or bridges if you want to solve problems caused by tooth loss. A dental crown treatment is ideal if you want to replace the form and function of a missing tooth with a dental implant and a crown. A dental bridge will be a better option if you are missing several teeth located in the same area of your jaw.

What Can Crowns & Bridges Do for Me?

  • Your smile will look more complete and more attractive with crowns and bridges, as they will fill out the gaps caused by missing teeth. You will have more confidence to smile knowing that your teeth look complete and healthy.
  • Crowns & bridges, with the help of dental implants, prevent the onset of jawbone deterioration.
  • A dental crown and a dental bridge will make your speech normal again, without the lisping sounds made by tooth loss.
